Can I call to order contacts?

Yes. You can place your order by calling 800-999-4758. Your order will be processed promptly and shipped to you directly after prescription has been verified. International customers can call us at 470-321-7602.

Why does my prescription need to be validated?

Verification of contact lens prescriptions is completed to help maintain our customers’ eye health, and comply with the Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act. This law requires that optometrists and ophthalmologists give patients a copy of their prescriptions after a fitting and verify those prescriptions to any third party designated by the patient, such as an online lens seller. This protects patients by ensuring that their prescriptions are current and valid.

Can I order contacts if I don't know my prescription?

We will gladly obtain it for you. Please provide us with your doctor's name and phone number when prompted.

Can I use my glasses prescription for a contact lens prescription?

Glasses prescriptions and contact lens prescriptions are not the same. A contact lens prescription includes contact lens brand name, base curve, and diameter which are not components of an eyeglass prescription. Contact lenses sit directly on the eye whereas glasses are worn on the bridge of the nose. The distance between these two spaces dramatically changes the level of correction for each type.

Where can I find Contact Lens Rebate information?

See our Contact Lens Rebate page for manufacturer minimum purchase requirements, rebate values, and documents for rebate redemption.

Do I need annual eye exams if I wear contacts?

A regular eye examination is recommended to update your prescription and evaluate the health of your eyes. Contact lens prescriptions have varied expiration dates due to state regulations, doctor preference, and health concerns.

Do I have to get another eye exam if I already have a prescription?

We make things easy for you at America's Best. Patients can use your own prescription; you don't need to see one of the independent Doctors of Optometry at America's Best to order contacts. However, a current, valid prescription is required to purchase contact lenses. Be sure to give us your doctor’s contact information or upload a copy of your prescription so it can be verified before your order is filled.

Remember at America's Best locations we offer low prices on eye exams for eyeglasses and contact lens exams. Why not get an eye exam, just to make sure that your vision hasn't changed? Call your local store to learn about offers at your nearest location or schedule your eye exam online. Call or stop in - one of our opticians will be happy to explain all the services we have to offer.
