1. INITIAL ASSESSMENT:

A doctor conducts a comprehensive eye exam to determine the overall health of the eyes, and any vision correction needs.

If the patient is diagnosed with myopia (nearsightedness), various correction and treatment options will be discussed, including the MiSight® Treatment Plan.

2. TREATMENT:

The plan begins with a fitting for the MiSight® daily disposable soft contact lenses, along with help to practice insertion and removal.

Patients leave with trial lenses, printed instructions, and links to helpful online videos. Patients will need a 1-week follow-up visit, but are also encouraged to contact the America’s Best team for further help and support as needed.

3. MONITORING AND ADJUSTMENTS:

Once fitted with the MiSight® 1 day lenses, patients are typically scheduled for monitoring exams every six months. The exact frequency of follow-up visits will be determined by the doctor and can vary based on individual patient progress and their eyes’ response to the treatment.

Children typically wear the MiSight® 1 day lenses for 3-5 years, or until the myopia is no longer worsening.**
